I don't really like new design there, on mobile. Topics became really narrow and hard to read. Before that, my full width was utilized, now it's 2/3 and remaining 1/3 is used to display the avatar.
Am I the only one who doesn't like that? If there are more people like me, maybe there's a way to do something about it?
By the way, as I'm at it, when the message when someone didn't post for some time appears, it produces a horizontal scroll. Maybe it can be fixed too? 
Do I have a different forum view than you? I cannot se any noticeable changes.
The forum is a hosted Discourse instance, so the Discourse Discourse is a better place for feedback on the design of the forum.
I can't really reproduce anything close to 1/3 of the width without turning on a ridiculously large zoom factor.
I'd be curious to see a screenshot though. Maybe there are other relevant factors[1].
e. g. some people may have different browser settings for thing like font size etc, maybe some corner case wasn't tested well and broke

Oh, turns out I had extension enabled by default for the dark mode and it somehow interfered with the layout. I disabled it for this site, as it has dark mode, and it looks good now!
