Where can I check what's upcoming in the next version of rust?
One of the best places is the release notes. There is usually a draft prepared several weeks before the release. For example, PR #78364 has the draft release notes for Rust 1.48.0.
This Week in Rust has a weekly list of changes made in nightly. Every six weeks, the latest nightly becomes the new beta release, and six weeks later it moves from beta to stable. TWIR also tracks proposals going through the RFC process, which may take much longer to reach the stable channel.
