Is there a plan for comment sub replies?

I'd like to see something like how reddit organizes sub comments to comments with its tree-like structure. You know the thing goes like:

* Post
          * Comment
                    * Subcomment
                    * Another Subcomment
                    * ...click to see more replies...
          * Another Comment
                    * Subcomment for another comment
                    * Another subcomment for another comment
                    * ...click to see more replies...

This might help if the forum growth accelerates like log -> exponential fashion:

I don't believe such a feature is planned, as it seems like a rather fundamental design decision / change. (Unless there's some way of doing it partially and/or optionally :thinking:.) In any case, I wouldn't know any more about it than you do.

This forum software is Discourse (https://www.discourse.org/) so for any deeper insights into the design decisions and/or future developments, you'd need to look for more information there. (They have a Github repo and a of course their own forum, too.)
