Hi, in line of not allowing job offer posts in this forum (as called out in the welcome topic), we shouldn’t have a forum post titled “Bounty for Rust Developers”, either. Especially if it’s a “a bounty for implement [sic] MultiSig in Grin”, i.e. simply compensation for implementation work, is that much different from a job?

It’s an open source project apparently, we should probably fully flesh out our forum rules around that; but in any case, maybe don’t hold up that “Bounty for Rust Developers” sign all that high,[1] it would better fit the usual style of our forum topics anyway. If you’re really wanting to advertise project contributions for compensation, then you could consider posting to a dedicated job board, such as StackOverflow or the unofficial subreddit.

For now, I’m integrating this topic with the previous topic where (as far as I can tell) you tried to first post that update first yourself (but couldn’t because it was closed)

  1. also, the forum thread you link doesn’t really make it clear if you’re considering (“open the discussion”) or actually offering anything; so that could be made less confusing ↩︎
