Search anything that starts with 'S' on docs.rs

Hello,

I have noticed a bug (maybe) on docs.rs.

I am not able to search anything that start with 'S'.
I guess it is because of

Click or press ‘S’ to search, ‘?’ for more options…

So, when one presses 'S' search field takes a focus but consequent 'S' presses do nothing.
It results in very inconvenient way to search without leading 'S' and to hope that autocomplete will help me.

I would open an issue somewhere on GitHub but I don't know where code for docs.rs is landed.

Please, help me to figure it out.

By the way, do you the same experience?

P.S.
I have filed an issue here.

Surely they wouldn't...

*checks*

Holy cow, they really did. That's pretty hilarious.

It's worth noting that this does not happen if you try searching sufficiently old docs. Here's an example of sufficiently old docs that don't exhibit this problem.

I would raise this on Rust’s github. Come to think of it, I might’ve noticed this as well.

Just tried. Also sometimes does not work when second is s.

Wow, I didn't think it depends on a particular crate.
I thought is it the whole site problem.

I have filed an issue here.

The docs aren't generated site-wide. The site runs rustdoc on each crate as it gets published to the index, and then serves up a bunch of static files.
