Rust - The Programming Language that Delivers

Synopsis
This is an introductory talk about the Rust programming language and its key principles, and why this language is going to be important in the future. Rust is a language that is around the same age as Go, but has gained prominence recently as more and more people are realising the benefits of improved security and safety while not compromising on performance and ease of use. Starting from small microcontrollers all the way to web services running on cloud computing devices, Rust will help you write quality software without having to worry about data-races and memory corruption. The speaker is a Rust practitioner and develops with Rust on STM32 microcontrollers and on larger Linux environments.

A follow-up talk on Rust Embedded will happen in March.
