Problem connecting to IRC channel

I'm trying to connect to the IRC channel but getting the following message:

[0] diegooliveira, [1] #rust, [2] You need to be identified to a registered account to join this channel.

Is there any way to be identified to a registered account that I'm missing?

You'll need to register your IRC nickname with NickServ. There are more details here. The page also explains how to identify yourself as the account holder.
