New `xsd-parser` Release - Rust code generator for XML schemas

Hey guys,

I've just released a new version of xsd-parser: v1.6.0

For those who don't know it yet: xsd-parser generates Rust types from XML schemas (XSD), optionally including quick_xml or serde (de)serialization code. The previous announcements can be found in the old thread.

There were are a few breaking changes, so please have a look at the changelog before upgrading.

The README now also has a Getting Started section with a list of common pitfalls, and there is a new contributing guide.

A big thank you to everyone who reported issues, sent pull requests or shared their schemas. This release would not have been possible without you.

Here are some additional pointers to other resources:

As always, feedback and ideas are very welcome

Short update: with your support I was able to identify and fix some smaller issues, and a bigger one around XML namespaces. xsd-parser 1.7.0 and xsd-parser-types 0.4.0 are out now.

Elements now end up in the namespace the schema defines for them (references, unqualified elements below a default namespace, imports without namespace), and the deserializers respect the default namespace when matching names.

The generated code changes for schemas that use namespaces, and there are a few small API changes, so please have a look at the changelog before upgrading.
