It probably easier to get people interested in a project if theres already more than just a handful lines of code; also, I wonder if the emoji aren't more discouraging than encouraging interest.

not a lawyer myself, but you might be wary of using "official (one-extra-letter)rust OS" with all the fun stuff of rust foundation discussions happening in the past
