I installed Rust on a Win7-32 system. I then built my application. When I ran it with
-h (help) it correctly output the help summary.
But when I ran it with commands to do work it crashed with a ‘BEX’ error something to do with ‘StackHash’ (the rest just hex numbers).
It works perfectly on Win7-64.
I then did
cargo install qtrac-retest to install my retest program. This downloaded and built fine, and runs fine too.
The application that fails is much larger than retest and uses some 32-bit DLLs via the sharedlib crate.
A 32-bit build is a “nice to have”, but if anyone knows the solution I’d give it a try.
