New week, new Rust! What are you folks up to?
Finished a demo based on GitHub - gklijs/bkes: Binary Kafka backed Event Store I created just before. There is certainly room for improvement, like adding some integration tests. I like the idea's around event sourcing, but implementation can be difficult. There are a couple of all-or-nothing frameworks, but I rather have a more modular approach. This one helps with managing concurrent writes to the same aggregate, as well as getting all the messages for the same aggregate.
working on a cross editor snippet manager it was something I tried before and kind of put on the backburner because I wasn't as experienced in rust. basically scrapped my previous attempt and started from scratch, made the code more modular, working to have it function similar to an lsp - run as an independent process that communicates with the editor via some kind of mediator client side.
I'm hoping this will make snippets way more useful, easier to write/share and have most functionality shared across editors
