Was asked to write a book about Rust. Legitimate?

Hi,

I was emailed by a mail address from packt.com and was asked whether I'm interested in authoring a book about the Rust programming language.

Is this legitimate or is this a cagey way of phising?

They're a legitimate company, but from what I've heard they're very much quantity over quality - they don't do much editing/quality control, or give very much support to the authors.
