Currently, the test crate is unstable and behind the test feature gate. Because Bencher is in test, this means that the nightly channel is required in order to run benchmark tests.
I am wondering, is there a timeline for when the test crate, or specifically Bencher, will become stable?
The current status is "basically, the design is problematic, but we haven't had anyone work through those issues yet." So we're at that stage of the pipeline.
I'm not 100% sure where this is being tracked, to be honest... maybe someone from the libs team can chime in, they might know something I don't.
