State of the art for Rust mobile (ios + android) dev


This is a soft question. I am looking for recommendations, but please speak only from PERSONAL experience (i.e. lists of libraries neither of us have used is not useful).

Here is my situation:

  1. I am comfortable with C/C++/Kotlin/Rust. I found ObjC very unintuitive to work with. I like what I have seen of Swift so far.

  2. I have an app that is server side = Rust, client side = Rust/wasm. I need to add a mobile component (mainly for APIs w/o JS access).

  3. For those using Rust to do mobile dev, what is your stack?

  4. For those doing mobile dev and familiar with both Rust & Kotlin – which do you use?

  5. Any other advice?
