Send command to kubernetes pod

I'm trying to send commands to a kubernetes pod. but i'm not sure if i'm using the correct procedure.

You need to specify what sort of data you're expecting to receive from the request. client.request::<BodyDataTypeGoesHere>(exec_cfg);
