Rust-analyzer server outlive nvim

Is there a way to have

  1. a rust-analyzer process that lives longer than nvim

  2. we create / kill nvim sessionsat will

  3. newly created nvim sessions pick which rust-analyzer serssion to connect to

The XY problem here is: I'm used to creating / killing nvim at will; and want to avoid the rust-analyzer startup time.
