Rust-analyzer reporting Cargo.toml in plastic scm directory

With the new version, I'm getting a popup asking whether I want to add a Cargo.toml file to the linked project. The file is inside the .plastic directory which contains the scm data.

Should I be expecting that an scm directory will be scanned like this?

Is there a way to tell rust-analyzer not to check certain sub directories?

Advice welcome.
