Production Telemetry Setup For Rust SaaS

We are deciding on the architecture of our tracing and logging infrastructure that will be part of SaaS Startup. We have been looking at a few solutions already (datadog, signoz, AWS XRay) though none seem ideal in terms of proprietary interfaces or large cost (signoz starting at $200 a month for their cloud offering seems kind of crazy to a small startup like us!). We essentially just want the flame graphs and some audit event logging to help debug issues within the system.

I would be very keen to hear experience from others about the stacks they are using, what they would recommend or disrecommend.

Just replying to myself after doing more research and coming to a conclusion.

We have elected to use honeycomb.io for the Telemetry at the moment. This is primarily due to their free tier up to 20M events in a month, also helped by a tutorial we found that detailed how to get a basic setup working.
