After quite a long journey, I'm finally releasing a project I've been working on called "mmids", which stands for "Multi Media Ingestion and Distribution System".
It's a server and library that's designed to handle complex live video workflows. It's also built with extensibility and composability in mind, making it very easy to create new components (OSS and proprietary) and make your own releases.
