Mentoring from hacky to professional?

Hi!

I'm a 40yo product manager who knows how to code 'the hacky way' but has never been involved in proper software development processes. I'm looking to learn 2 things: Rust (I have basics but not proficiency) and how to create software the "professional" way.

I'm wondering: would anyone in the Rust community want to mentor me (remotely or meeting in Barcelona), ie helping me onboard into real-life open source projects? I could spend 1 full day per week on average. Open to other ideas to make a potential planned transition.

Cheers,
Pierric.

I'm happy to help.
