Kaspersky rejected your run doctest and warned you that it is virus
Windows antivirus software is generally suspicious of βwrite another executable to disk and run itβ because viruses love to download new code or obfuscate themselves in such ways. To avoid this problem, you will have to exclude at the target/
directory from scanning.
Windows Defender had a period where it would quarantine some of my Rust projects that uses the Windows Service Subsystem. I searched for the malware name it claimed to have found in my binaries and according to Folks On The Internet, the naming indicated that it was some "AI" detection that had triggered the quarantine.
(This has somewhat improved since then, but it can still happen occasionally).
We live in very annoying times.
They may call it "AI" now, but virus scanners have long been prone to false positives in their heuristics.
