Is there a report about what sort of RUST developers there are

I am interested to know if there has been an official report on rust, the number of developers and the areas that they work in. I am trying to get a better rounding of RUST

Yes i believe there are reports just wanted to see if one had been done for RUST.

There's an annual survey done by the Rust team: Rust Survey 2018 Results | Rust Blog

Problems with surveys is they're heavily biased because they're based on people knowing there's a survey and willing to answer. Just like SO surveys and the likes are absolutely not representative of the real developer population.
