Information on cargo installed binaries

Recently I was looking at my .cargo/bin directory. I noticed it is getting a few files in it. Some are cargo commands. Some are apps from crates.io. Some are my own apps.

Some I don't know what they are?

So my question is. If cargo installs with

cargo install binname

and uninstalls stuff with

cargo uninstall binname

is there a cargo command to get the meta info on the binaries I have installed. Some way of finding out how a binary was installed. If a binary is from crates.io, a local repo, or a cargo subcommand?

Does cargo install --list help?

Yeah, thanks. I got lost in the cargo help command. So many options.

But that only helps a little. Now I don't even know why I installed 'typos".

But cargo install --list says I installed it.
