If you want to learn more about profiling, try to figure out what you can. Try some code to profile. Then post what you have learned, include code. Point out what you don't understand. This group will help for free. It is a competition to see who can help you the best.
Also lurk for a bit. Recently there was this post with some benchmarking code.
Read this group for a while and you will probabaly learn what you are looking for.
