How to run/verify openocd on MacOS?

Following link in embedded rust provides guidance to verify openocd connection.

But it dont discuss for MacOS. Can someone provide steps on how to verify/run openocd on MacOS? after installing all as said here: https://docs.rust-embedded.org/discovery/03-setup/macos.html .
