Hello Community,
I am using Rust for my research in multi-threaded scheduling systems and I would like to cite the language as it has argueably turned multiprocessor programming from an art into a craft.
Does anyone in here know if there is an official way to cite the language?
Kind regards,
Christian Brunbjerg Jespersen
Official, I don't know. But Ralf Jung has a number of Rust publications; you could survey what they did.

It depends on what exactly you want to cite. "The book" is published by no starch press and has an isbn to cite: The Rust Programming Language, 2nd Edition | No Starch Press.
Everything else I would cite as websites.
