Ohh ok I get it. And for most of the part, I can't say how useful I will be in this project, as I still in the learning stages of rust and programming. And this said, equal contribution from my side is highly unlikely to happen (but I can't be so sure unless I see the source code and stuff). So for me, I guess ima just try to contribute to the project as much as I can, then you can decide about the ownership and revenue share for my part. I still not sure about the correct structure of the game, especially the 4D part. So there is a lot of things there to discuss even for starting out the project. And yeah, we should eventually move to personal chats from here. Does rust forum has an personal group option, if no, we can use other medium to communicate. Like, discord is fine for me if everyone agrees with.
Thanks for pointing your thought ![]()
And we hope if there is a something engaged development and if the time is permitted.
@sham-404 : Discord is fine for me too.
And @xolatgames I think he can join us as well if he is agreed too ?
https://dcd.gg/4dplus maybe, or make your own?
Hi, gonna hop in this because this sounds interesting. But are you planning to continue with your current genre of games or other kinds of games (like RTS, FPS, etc.) are fine as well? I mostly prefer brainstorming ideas and features and only learned programming (and Rust specifically) just so I could see those ideas in action (and partly because I like to juice out even the tiniest performance boost as well).
Cool ![]()
Thanks
Hi @1nuxiuz
We are currently talking this project and not yet for dev so of course you can join us here or on discord (better) ![]()
I guess current genre, but no one else is giving ideas much, so?
Okay, how the renderer will work is define axis aligned bricks, like 1 by 1 by 2 by 2 or whatever other dimensions, make tetrahedra of that, same tetrahedra algorithm regardless size, just squash or expand the things and render by what can be in view, like all in 3d, 3d, rotating in a 4d, show in the 4d that can be, once we have that, define moves per time per type of thing, player or ghost, turning is a move and so is moving, everything axis aligned except the turning things, basically just move, buttons to turn, to stop, and try to move to where the dots are to eat, maybe a random time when there are bonuses, also, the stuff like eat the ghosts as they run away at half speed or some user defined slower speed, this by eating a special dot, think all of PacMan but higher dimensional and with a possibly user defined map with warp spots, is this clear enough?
Oh, and in the final game, I want an all dimensions jiggle view button, but maybe optional, what do you think?
Hi everyone,
I think it's a little too early to make final decisions about contracts, revenue sharing, or company registration.
My opinion is that we should first build a small playable prototype and see how the team works together. Once we have something concrete and everyone has contributed, we can discuss ownership, revenue sharing, and legal matters in a fair way.
I'm from France (Europe), and my time zone is Central European Time (CET/CEST).
Regarding the game idea, it's much clearer now. I understand the concept as a higher-dimensional Pac-Man-inspired game with movement, rotation through higher dimensions, ghosts, dots, power-ups, and possibly user-created maps.
I still believe the best approach is to start with a very small playable prototype.
That's exactly how I developed GamFall Arena with my ZlormaEngine. I didn't try to build the whole game from day one. I first created a simple playable version, tested the core gameplay, and then gradually added new mechanics, improved the engine, and refined the overall experience.
I think we should follow the same philosophy here. Once the core gameplay is fun and intuitive, we can expand the game with higher dimensions, more mechanics, better graphics, multiplayer, and other advanced features.
I'm really looking forward to working with all of you and seeing where this project goes!

I would like to make my own FPS game using WebGPU. I know the Bevy engine supports exporting to it. The thing is, I have almost no game development experience... But still, if you have similar desires, you can also write to me at zabj.kart@gmail.com.
I have sent to you to email, hope we can have more in exchange for this game.
I honestly don't have more details if we do it my way, what is missing? Something else?
The dcd .gg link is a Discord, and I am still getting off my last game, I guess basic boilerplate or using an example to start?
We can start any time now, what to do?
Are we doing this?
I give this a week to respond, a note, copyright is automatic, if nothing else we need a contract that says we give permission to each other to use the shared code for this project so we are not infringing each other's copyright and there are no grounds to go rogue and sue anybody on that ground, and I want if a single one or group does all the work, they get the rights to it, and to not sell it until that group which made it either agrees or has decided on a revenue share model, who is in, and I found someone else named Brandon to join the party, is this okay to do?
It's too early to talk about contracts... The problem is that you don't always have a clear plan... That's why there's a lack of motivation... sorry.
