Hi for the past 8-10 months i have been working on slatescript a language written in rust, i am looking for feedback on my code as i am new to rust. below is the project link,

i wanted to make something of my own for sometime so i decided on creating a programming language i sat down to do this with python at first but then i realized that my language would be slow so i decided to use rust which i did not know about but thought i could give it a try.

I wanted to make the language easy to read but very powerful so i decided on some usual syntax like using

- "\<\>" to declare user defined functions
- "()" for print statements and system defined functions.

In the end i have a pretty odd language but i liked making it.

it supports

- print statements
- variables
- loops
- functions
- loop counter (i)
- and more with slattery the ui extension and sfile the linking extension

"slattery" the ui framework is built using egui and "sfile" a extension to link .st files together(my languages extension is .st).

I made the choice of using two interpreters one for slattery and one for slate's core functions and I also had the idea to make a extension called sllm for llm finetuning but quit since hugging face was too difficult in rust.

Altogether i made what i would say a barely functioning language but i will let you decide that.

# What i would like feedback on

- Is two interpreters overkill?
- Any safety/performance issues?
- How can I improve the extensions
