Experienced Rust Developer Required

I'm looking for an experienced Rust developer to work on a superfast UK domain catching script to drop catch expiring UK domains.

I can elaborate more on that. If you know what that is it could be an advantage.

I have example code to look at for reference.

The idea is quite simple but it will require very fast code, without any wasted loops or anything to slow it down.

Let me know if you are up for a challenge.

If you know anyone who might be good, let me know.

I'd help you if I didn't think what you are trying to do is unethical. This is the sort of zero value added business strategies this world needs fewer of, not more.

2 posts were split to a new topic: Where do I post job offers?

Hi Alex,

I think you should update your post a little to make it look more like a normal job posting. Include details about

  • What is the name of the company that is hiring?
  • Is this a contract for 3 months? 6 months? 12 months?
  • What is your expectations regarding hourly rate?
  • It sounds like this will be remote work?

Also, tell us something about where the project is currently. Do you already have a prototype in language X? Do you already have a team working with Rust?

Basically, you need to sell yourself a little. This forum is full of experienced engineers, and I assume most already have interesting and well-paying jobs. So explain to us why your project is super exciting and why someone would want to spend time getting involved with it.
