Error building rust-llvm in yocto

Hi. I'm building rust-llvm with this configuration

https://github.com/jmesmon/meta-rust/blob/master/recipes/rust/rust-llvm.inc

and I'm facing this issue

ibLLVMTableGen.a: error adding symbols: Archive has no index; run ranlib to add one

Can anyone please guide me through this issue?

I remember a similar issue a few months ago that, IIRC, stemmed from stripping some rlibs.
