Cargo.toml Not Found

I have cargo 1.67.0 on my OSX Ventura. However, anytime I try to use cargo run I receive the following error:

error: could not find Cargo.toml in /Users/scottclausen or any parent directory

I have resinstalled dustup and the problem remains. I'm using iTerm on the zsh.

I am a noob and would appreciate and help.

From the error message, it looks like you aren't in the directory of the Cargo project when you run cargo run. Where is the project?

Bingo! You are correct. I now kind of know what I"m doing after your help. I'll now proceed to learn Rust. Many thanks.
