Cargo-brief 0.1.0 - Display a brief summary of cargo dependencies

As a php developper, I am used to the composer show command useful to find the exact version of a dependency (to complete an issue, for example).

I wrote a little cargo plugin to copy this functionality.

Cargo also has the built-in command tree to display the dependency tree with versions.

But generally I would be really interested in something like cargo-brief that would help me assess dependencies better, eg not only display the version, but also when that version was published, how many downloads on crates.io it has, whether it is the ‘most frequently used version’, whether a new major version is available, etc.

It would be perfect if we could limit the depth of the tree.
