I've written a blog-post about the use of SIMD and Array-of-Sructures-of-Arrays with the next version of nalgebra (to be released at the end of March) including a benchmark comparison with other linear algebra crates: SIMD Array-of-Structures-of-Arrays in nalgebra and comparison with ultraviolet · The rustsim organization

For those interested, this also includes a short description of the data layouts Array-of-Structures (AoS), Structures-of-Arrays (SoA) and Array-of-Structures-of-Arrays (AoSoA).
