Are you using the rustdoc `--resource-suffix` option?

We came across the fact that it might not be really useful to use this suffix for the non-essential files (understand: files that change depending on the crate being documented like search-index.js). If you have a use for it, we'd really like to hear about it!

Presumably similar to most people, I only ever use rustdoc through cargo doc. I have been programming in Rust for years and had no idea this option even existed because I have literally never run rustdoc --help until just now.

For the curious, we ended up not changing this after all: Don't hard-code essential rustdoc files by jyn514 · Pull Request #1312 · rust-lang/docs.rs · GitHub
