there is a city called Rust in Germany, close to German-French border. It has a huge hotel base for nearby "Europa Park", which is probably not that busy during winter season.
It thought it would be funny to do a Rust meetup/conference there, like "Programming in Rust in Rust".

The "Europa Park" recently had some problems with their borrow checker. Noone was seriously hurt.

I'm from the region around Rust and I can neither confirm nor deny that I have checked venue size, price and feasibility of such an event already.
Though "Rust Rust" is a much catchier name ;).
This has come up earlier (during Rustfest Paris i assume). They were thinking of hosting a Rustfest in that city, but it is too expensive.
